Talea by Antoniolupi: Bathroom Furniture That Hides Its Best Details

Good design rewards you for getting closer. The Talea collection by antoniolupi is built around exactly that idea.

Designed by Artemadesign, Talea is a bathroom cabinet and vanity system where the most interesting details only reveal themselves when you’re standing right in front of it. The integrated sink, for example, is hidden from view when you’re across the room. You only see it when you walk up. It’s a quiet kind of confidence that a lot of furniture tries for and rarely achieves.

The door is where Talea makes its clearest design statement. It extends slightly beyond the cabinet frame on all sides: above the top, and past both ends of the composition. That small projection isn’t just visual. It’s functional. The door opens without handles or grooves because the overhang gives you something to pull. Clean lines, nothing added, nothing wasted.

You can get Talea in lacquer or wood veneer, smooth or pleated, across the full antoniolupi color range. Tops come in marble or Flumood in various thicknesses and can be fitted with built-in towel holders, glass holders, and dispensers. The composition adapts to corner and niche installations too, with the projection adjusting to the configuration so the logic of the design always holds.

It also works as an addition to the Cartesio collection if you want to bring that same geometric precision into an existing setup.

The result is a vanity that looks edited and considered from across the room and reveals its intelligence up close. That’s a harder thing to design than it looks.
