Designed by AL Studio, Cartesio is a system of pure rectangular volumes, sized to the centimeter, built around the idea that proportion and restraint are enough. No ornamentation. No extra moves. Just crisp, well-balanced forms that create a quiet architecture inside your bathroom.
The system is designed primarily to elevate countertop sinks off the floor, giving the basin room to read as an object in its own right. The cabinet becomes the backdrop, the sink becomes the focal point, and the space between them does the work. Solid and void in deliberate balance. It’s a composition more than it’s a cabinet.
Beyond the visual, Cartesio is practical. The surface area around the sink gives you space for the everyday things: skincare, razors, whatever your morning routine involves. It keeps them close without cluttering the look.
What makes the system genuinely flexible is how far it can go beyond the vanity area. Cartesio works in other parts of the bathroom too, in different positions, sizes, and material combinations, building out compositions that feel considered and cohesive rather than assembled from parts.
