Some products are functional. Some are beautiful. The Nabatei collection by antoniolupi is both, and it doesn’t apologize for either.
Designed by AL Studio, Nabatei is a series of solid marble sink tops carved directly from stone. The name references the Nabataean people of ancient Arabia, the same civilization that carved the city of Petra from rock faces. That reference isn’t just poetic. You see it in the work: clean geometric lines, thin material edges, and surfaces divided into distinct zones that look almost like aerial views of terraced land.
Each top is carved to include a sink basin, storage areas for daily objects, and space for faucets. Because it’s marble, no two pieces look exactly the same. The stone does what stone does: every slab brings its own color variation, veining, and character.
The collection covers a lot of ground. There are rectangular and oval versions, wall-hung and floor-standing cabinet bases, and cube-shaped sinks at 40x40x40 cm that can mount on a wall or sit on shelving. The freestanding version stands on the floor with a flanking shelf. Lighter top-mount options in Cristalmood round out the lineup for anyone who wants the look with a smaller footprint. Multiple blocks can also connect side by side for a continuous, uninterrupted run across a vanity wall.
It’s the kind of piece that defines a bathroom rather than just living in it.
