Why We Love Bonaldo
Bonaldo is what we call middle-high in terms of price point. They’re a luxury brand, but they’re not going to be your highest investment. If you’re looking for something that’s beautifully designed, has some unique details and finishes, and sits at a slightly more accessible level than Poliform, Bonaldo is a strong option.
What we particularly like about them is that they have genuine signature pieces, designs we haven’t seen anywhere else. And their finish system is cohesive: if you choose a specific metal finish, that same finish can carry through from the dining table to the chairs to the sofa legs to the wall system. That kind of coordination across a collection is harder to achieve than it looks.
Products We Love Right Now
Flatiron Table
This is our favorite piece from Bonaldo. The Flatiron is a dining table with an organically shaped top and slab legs that inset directly into it, not attached to the underside, but actually integrated into the form. Each size has a slightly different tabletop shape, which makes them feel like individual objects rather than variations on a template. Available in all-stone or stone and wood combinations. A real conversation piece.
Avant Garde Chair
The companion dining chair to the Flatiron. The back and seat are almost floating, connected by a rod that gives the chair an unusual silhouette. Because the backrest is semi-detached, it has some flex to it, which makes it genuinely comfortable to sit in for a long dinner. Available in leather and fabric.
Brik Sofa
Their signature sofa system. Modular, almost like putting blocks together, the name gives it away. Very comfortable for lounging, great for a den or TV room. Has a very distinct cube-like look that works well in a casual living space.

How We Use Bonaldo in Projects
Bonaldo tends to show up in projects where a client wants the dining room or living room to have a real focal point, something with a distinctive shape that doesn’t look like it came from a catalog.
We also use Bonaldo when a client is furnishing a secondary living area such as a den, a family room, a game room, where the Poliform investment is focused on the kitchen and master spaces, and Bonaldo fills the rest of the home at a slightly more accessible level without compromising on design quality.
