antoniolupi: Italian Bathroom Design in La Jolla
We carry antoniolupi at our La Jolla showroom and specify it in luxury bathroom projects throughout San Diego. If you’ve seen antoniolupi in a design publication and want to bring it into your home, we’re the place to make it happen locally.
Why We Love antoniolupi
Antoniolupi is a family-owned company based in the Milan area of Italy. They focus entirely on bathrooms: everything that goes into that space, from the tub and sink to the vanity, storage, and fixtures.
What sets them apart is that they treat the bathroom like a design space, not just a functional room. They use materials you really don’t see anywhere else such as resins, natural stone slabs, 3D printed ceramics. Their latest products include a base that’s 3D printed in ceramic with this incredible textured pattern, topped with stone. It sounds unusual, but it looks extraordinary.
They also think very carefully about longevity. A bathroom is a wet area with specific demands, and antoniolupi researches their materials specifically for how they perform over time in that environment. They’re not just making something that photographs well but something that holds up also.
When we’re designing a bathroom and we want something that doesn’t look like any other bathroom in La Jolla, antoniolupi is where we go to first.
Products We Love Right Now
Reflex Bathtub
This is one of our most talked-about showroom pieces. The Reflex tub is made from resin and it comes in 12 different colors and it’s translucent. When you fill it with water, it almost looks like glass. People walk into the showroom and genuinely think it is glass until they touch it. It’s that unusual. A complete showstopper.
Breeze Sink
A pedestal sink in the same resin material as the Reflex tub. Also on the floor in our showroom. The resin catches light in a way that stone and ceramic don’t. If you’re drawn to the Reflex tub, this pairs beautifully.
Silenzio Sink
This one looks like it’s growing out of the wall. The design is built into the wall surface and appears to float out of it. It’s one of those things you have to see in person to fully understand, photos almost undersell it. We have it on the floor.
Street Vanity Collection
The Street collection features a 30cm front profile of stone that runs the full width of the vanity, with built-in sinks and integrated lighting. It hangs from the wall. Clean, architectural, and unlike most vanities you’ll find anywhere in San Diego.
What’s in Our Showroom
We have the following antoniolupi pieces on the floor in La Jolla:
The materials are the whole story with this brand.
Come in and touch the resin, see how the stone front reads in real light, and understand what “design-forward bathroom” actually means.
How antoniolupi Fits Into a Project
We typically specify antoniolupi for master bathrooms in high-end residential projects. For secondary bathrooms or spaces where budget is a factor, we work with Idea Group as a complementary option. Together, they let us design every bathroom in a home at the right level for that particular space.
We pair antoniolupi fixtures with Gessi faucets and Lualdi doors to complete the bathroom environment.
