Invisacook: The Cooktop You Can’t See
We carry Invisacook at our La Jolla showroom. It’s one of the most innovative kitchen products we’ve come across. And for clients who want a truly seamless kitchen surface, it changes the entire conversation.

Why We Love Invisacook
Invisacook is the newest frontier in induction technology. Instead of a cooktop sitting on top of your counter, the induction elements are installed beneath the countertop surface. The induction field penetrates the material, and you cook directly on the counter.
There’s no visible cooktop. No frame, no border, no appliance to clean around. Just a continuous countertop that also happens to be a cooking surface.
This is the kind of product that makes you rethink what a kitchen can look like, especially when you’re working with a Poliform kitchen designed around seamless surfaces and clean architecture. Invisacook is the logical extension of that idea.
It’s an American company, which is unusual for the brands we carry. And they’re the pioneer in this technology. Very few companies are doing this.

How It Works
The induction elements sit under the counter. The control panel can be stored in a drawer below, hinged down, or built directly into the counter surface. If you’re using Invisacook’s own cookware — which has small feet on it — the pot sits directly on the surface. If you’re using your own induction-ready cookware, you place an Invisimat (a thin silicone mat) on the counter first, then your pot on the mat.
It’s available in both 110V and 220V. For a primary cooking surface, 220V is recommended. For a secondary area, a warming station, or a space where you only occasionally need heat, 110V works well.

Why It Makes Sense
Safety. The countertop surface doesn’t get hot enough to burn. Great for households with children.
Control. Induction allows much finer temperature control than gas, especially at low temperatures for simmering, which is notoriously difficult with a flame.
Cleaning. You wipe the counter. That’s it.
Flexibility. This isn’t only for kitchens. A conference room warming station, a salon using wax products, an office kitchen. The hidden element works in any surface where you’d rather not have a visible appliance.
There are some countertop material limitations to discuss before specifying it, so the conversation starts with your project details.
