Idea Group: Italian Bathroom Furniture in La Jolla
We carry Idea Group at our La Jolla showroom as a complement to our antoniolupi offering. Just as we use Pianca alongside Poliform for closets, we use Idea Group alongside antoniolupi for bathrooms, putting the right product in the right space at the right investment level.
Why We Love Idea Group
Antoniolupi is what we specify for master bathrooms where design is the priority: the resin tubs, the stone sinks, the architectural vanity systems. But not every bathroom in a home needs that level of investment or that particular aesthetic.
Idea Group (pronounced “eye-day-ah”) gives us a quality Italian bathroom option for secondary bathrooms, guest baths, and spaces where a more conventional vanity makes sense. It’s still Italian-made, still well-designed, still good quality. It just serves a different purpose.
What’s also practical about Idea Group is that they have three distinct tiers within their own collection, which lets us calibrate further. A guest bathroom, a pool house, and a master bath can all have Italian cabinetry at the level that makes sense for each one.
Products We Love Right Now
Blob Collection
The entry-level tier. Great for ADUs, guest houses, pool bathrooms, and multi-unit projects. Well-made, functional, and still Italian.
Idea Collection
The mid-range tier with additional finish options and more design variety. Good for secondary bathrooms in a primary residence.
Aqua Collection
Their luxury tier. Stone cabinetry, solid wood, fluting, and unique design details that approach the antoniolupi level in some configurations. The right pick when you want the Idea Group product but with a higher-end result.

How We Use Idea Group in Projects
In a typical full home renovation, we’ll specify antoniolupi for the master bathroom and use Idea Group’s Aqua or Idea collections for secondary baths, with Blob for any utility spaces. It’s a practical way to deliver a fully designed home without applying the same budget to every space equally.
