Pianca: Italian Closets and Storage in La Jolla
We carry Pianca at our La Jolla showroom as a complement to our Poliform offering. Not every space in a home needs the same level of investment — and Pianca gives us a quality Italian option for spaces where that makes sense.
Why We Love Pianca
Poliform is the best you can get when it comes to closets. It’s the consensus in the industry. But not every closet in a home requires that level. A guest room closet, a laundry room, a secondary bathroom storage unit. These spaces deserve good design and solid quality, but maybe not the same budget as the master closet.
That’s where Pianca comes in. They’re a high-quality Italian brand with a broad selection of custom finishes, including some options Poliform doesn’t offer. All interiors can be lacquered, with different textures, materials, and glass options. There are three different closet systems: a wardrobe system with doors, a cantilevering system off back panels, and an aluminum frame system that feels more open. They also do wall systems and furniture.
The way we use Pianca on a project is strategic. Master closet in Poliform. Guest closets, laundry room, and secondary spaces in Pianca. The result is a home that’s designed at the right level throughout, with budget allocated where it matters most.

How We Use Pianca in Projects
We use Pianca specifically for secondary closets and storage spaces where the client wants quality Italian product but doesn’t need the full Poliform investment. It’s a practical and well-designed option that holds up, looks great, and fits the overall aesthetic without overextending the budget where it isn’t necessary
